Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself. How would you describe your style?
A: I am very passionate about anything I choose to do. At every wedding that I shoot I try to give my very best. I see my photographs as being romantic, sincere and full of emotion. I try to capture the essence of the people I meet and there is something of me in every picture that I take. I like natural light the most and I use it every chance and every way I can, I don’t like interrupting or changing the course of an actual event, that way I can capture those quiet moments that reveal the true atmosphere of the day.

Q: What was the first camera you ever owned and how did you come across it?
A: Oh, this story always puts a smile on my face. My first camera was a Sony Mavica that worked with floppy disks. My dad sent it to me for “business” purposes. I was suppose to take pictures of some paintings that he was interested in. So …that never happened, instead I started shooting everything and anything I could and that is how my passion for photography started.

Q: Can you describe the “moment” when you knew that photography was something you just had to do?
A: I think I always knew. I think I took my first picture and I knew this was something I would never let go.

Q: What is the most challenging part of the job when shooting for a client?
A: I don’t even have to think about this one: making them forget about the camera and getting them to have that connection that they have when they are completely alone, in their sweetest, most romantic moments. It is the most challenging part and the one I love the most. :)

Q: What kind of equipment are you using?
A: I am a Nikon girl and I will be until the very end. I have a D700, D300, a 17-55mm, 50mm, 35mm and 85mm.

Q: If you could have lunch with anyone famous who would it be?
A: It would have to be Anthony Hopkins! I have had this fascination for him ever since I was little, that is probably why I would choose to have ice cream, instead of lunch. Yes, ice cream with Anthony Hopkins, I don’t think anything in this world sounds better right now.
